My good friend Jim (RedneckDude) found out today that he has been diagnosed with an Aortic Aneurysm. Please send him love and prayers in this post, he definitely has mine!
I'd say that qualifies as good news. Sorry you had to go through that period of uncertainty but all's well that... you know the rest.
(Guess it's a good thing they didn't scan your head?)
LOL,
<Homer Simpson's head CT here>
Well, shit. After getting that piece of mail, my Dr. calls and says I have a nodule on my left lobe. Make up my effin mind!!! Gggrrrr.
They can retrieve older chest films and equate, hopefully. One thing for sure: You have no aneurysm.

Btw, worrying won't change what's there (which I hope is benign or an old T.B. exposure)...so, relax.
Well, they said benign. How can they tell that without a biopsy? CT scan would show benign or malignant?
There are CT signs of malignancy...

And, they may already have looked at past xrays as well. However, even with biopsy there are intermediate nodules whose malignancy/benignity isn't definitive.
Ok, I just spoke with the Dr. It is a 4CM nodule. I start Chantix tomorrow.
EDIT It's MM, not CM.
Also was mentioned a "glassy" whatever scarring from when I had covid.
That's the one, sorry!
